Love Your Doggo provides dog walking and sitting throughout New Albany and surrounding areas. We are always looking to hire new walkers & sitters. We are hiring for part-time availability. Whether you want to sit for us or walk for us, we would love to hear from you! Bonus if you can do both!

The skills required to succeed as a walker/sitter are pretty straightforward. Reliability is a must. Our clients rely on us to be there when we say we will. Being organized is another critical skill; it helps when you have your day-to-day organized and structured to provide on-time and routine care—lastly, a love for all animals. You’ll be around doggos, so it’s best to enjoy them as well :)

Dog walking is a daily, part-time position. This position generally works 10 am-2 pm Monday-Friday with weekend walks occasionally. Someone who is active or aspires to be active is a must, as you will certainly get many steps per day!

Dog Sitters have a different scope of work than walking. Our sitters generally stay at our clients’ homes from 6-8 pm until 6-8 am. They don’t necessarily need daytime availability as our walkers can fill in during the day. Primarily, we are looking for someone who has the availability to stay overnight and is organized, reliable and comfortable staying in our clients’ homes.

As we continue to expand, we’re always looking for great groomers! We operate a home-based and appointment-based grooming business. Our groomers do between 3 and 6 dogs per day depending on size keeping it low-stress and allowing our groomers to give the quality of care to the doggos.
