Malorie Buehrer | Owner
Malorie found her happy place living in New Albany when some friends recommended visiting after she graduated from The Ohio State University. Even after living in Columbus for years, her first response was, “What’s so great about New Albany?” With one quick visit to New Albany, she quickly realized everything that was so great about it, and she called it home immediately with her husband, Logan, and two giant doodles, Winston and Walter.
Malorie is passionate about getting involved in the community and wanting to do anything she can to stay active and be on the go! Malorie is a current student of Leadership New Albany. In her free time, you can find her walking (or rollerblading!) with Winston and Walter, binging a thriller novel, or listening to one of her many podcasts she has on rotation. She is extremely passionate about all things dogs, and her favorite part about Love Your Doggo is being able to be around the sweetest doggos all day long. She always says “when your job revolves around dogs, no day is a bad day!”

Logan Buehrer | Owner
Meet Logan- Sometimes known as “Malories Husband”. Logan does all things marketing for Love Your Doggo. He helped launch and now facilitates grooming and our online store. Logan is a Marketing Manager for a local automotive group where he manages all things marketing & advertising. He doesn’t walk doggos as much as he used to, but he helps out as much as he can with advertising, marketing, growth, and behind-the-scenes ‘stuff’. He helps to make sure everything is running smoothly! Logan is a huge dog lover and truly believes a dog is a man’s best friend. Logan aspires to impact the local community for the greater good.
When Logan is not working, he enjoys traveling and some of his favorite destinations include the Oregon coast and the rest of the PNW as well as Savannah, Georgia!

Alyssa
Lead Groomer
Alyssa started dog grooming in December 2019. Once she started, she picked up it quickly and it become something that she loved to do! She has experience in a busy salon environment and is excited to have a chance to slow down a little bit with Love Your Doggo and make sure each doggo gets the attention they deserve. With dog grooming, there is always something new to learn so her goal is to obtain as much knowledge as she can to further her skills as a dog groomer.

Haley
Groomer
Haley has several years of experience in grooming. She has worked in a few salons and eventually left the industry to work on a farm. She wanted to get back into dog grooming and found Love Your Doggo. She enjoys the slower pace, and quality over quantity approach that LYD takes. We are very excited to have Haley on our team and she is continuously improving her skills with various AKC cuts from Alyssa. One thing is for certain - Haley is always ensuring your doggos are comfortable, safe, and of course - looking their very best!

Julie
Walker | Administrative Support
My husband and I have lived in New Albany since 2011. I quit my corporate job several years ago to stay home with our 2 young children. With the kids both in school, I was ready to go back into the workforce but this time I wanted to do something a little more fun. Since I love dogs and the outdoors, I knew dog walking would be perfect! I absolutely love spending my days with my furry friends. When I'm not walking dogs, I'm usually busy watching my kids play sports and driving them around to various activities. If we ever get free time, we like to hike, bike, kayak, and ski.

Recently became a resident of Ohio in 2020 with my husband and 3 rescue dogs from Northern Michigan. My family and I go on hikes and love to explore different parts of Ohio almost every weekend. Being a walker in New Albany has been so fun, I love the area for all the walking paths, people and of course the four legged ones! My love for animals has been lifelong and seeing pups almost daily has brightened my days and brought me a sense of home in this new stage of life!

Hi, my name is Cat! I’m originally from Arkansas, but I came to Columbus to attend Otterbein University, where I’m studying zoology, biology, economics, and math. On campus, I am the president of an organization called OtterPAWs in which I work with a partner organization to bring therapy dogs to campus. Samson, the Saint Bernard in my photo, is one of our regulars on campus. Additionally, I have quite a bit of professional and personal experience working with animals, of which includes my current employment at an exotic vet in Columbus, OH. I have a pet snake and cat at home, and I plan to add to the family after I graduate! I look forward to meeting y’all and your fur family!

Sitter
Hi my name is Finn! I’m currently an art student at Columbus State with plans to transfer to CCAD to pursue a bachelors in Graphic Design & Illustration. I grew up on a small farm in southeastern Indiana, so there has never been a time where I wasn’t surrounded by animals!
In my spare time, I love to make art, read, bake, practice yoga, take care of my plants, spend time in nature, and play D&D. My most favorite thing to do though is spend time with my 3 cats; Pikachu (pictured), Eevee, and Juno. I would do absolutely anything to make sure they are safe and happy! Loving animals is something that I have always been passionate about and I can’t wait to do the same for your fur-baby!

Hi my name is Madie! I grew up in a small town just outside of Gettysburg, PA, where I worked as an animal caretaker and assistant trainer for a farm with 44 miniature horses and 100+ other animals ranging from tortoises to emus for six years. From a young age my life has been filled four legged friends. Following graduation from Ohio State with my Accounting degree, I moved to Westerville with my cat, Olive. I also have two beautiful horses, Scarlett and Foxy. When I’m not cruising through excel spreadsheets or soaring over jumps with Foxy, I enjoy spending time with all dogs and cats, especially in the comfort of their home. Alexis
Sitter
Hi, I’m Alexis! I have called Columbus (New Albany) “home” for my entire life. After graduating from OSU in 2018 I began working in research, and ultimately ended up working remotely during Covid. My love (and obsession) with dogs led me to start watching family & friends’ furry friends once the pandemic was over. I can honestly say, dogs have brought so much happiness into my life. About a year ago I began a new journey as a medical student at Ohio University. When I’m not studying I enjoy running, cycling, and reading. I am so excited to spend my free time this summer hanging out with all of the wonderful dogs in New Albany and surrounding areas!

Mikaela
Sitter
Mikaela was born and raised in San Diego, California. She works as a consultant in Disaster Recovery, where her primary responsibility is to assist local agencies in recovering quickly from natural disasters and obtaining funds to increase their resilience from future disasters. Mikaela moved to Panama City, FL, where she met her cat, Maximilian. Together, they went on walks, chased lizards, and climbed trees (with Maximilian on a leash and Mikaela always close behind). Now, Mikaela, Maximilian, and her boyfriend call Columbus, Ohio their home. Maximilian has adapted to the change in environment and now chases leaves and rabbits instead of lizards.
